GRINNELL ARTIST RESIDENCY

Jonathan Happ - '10 Iowa State University majoring in Integrated Studio Arts with an emphasis in Painting and Drawing
Gillian Hemme - '10 Grinnell College majoring in Theatre (Pre-med)
Molly Moser - '10 the University of Iowa majoring in Studio Art, with a minor in Business Administration
Jordan Murphy - '10 Drake University majoring in Writing, History, and Religion
Benton Schoenrock - Grand View University majoring in Graphic Design and Visual Arts
The Grinnell Artist Residency offers an opportunity for artists to work intensively in a well-equipped facility on an Iowa farm. The artists receive room, board and a small stipend. Artist are encouraged to work individually and on collective projects, concluding their four weeks with a final show.
The residency is housed in the Art Factory on the Farm of Tom and Alesia Lacina. The final show is located on the farm or at the NEW Stewart Arts Center. The Art Factory contains large studio spaces, woodshop, prinkmaking, pottery, art equipment and living area. Access to live in housing is also avaliable.
