Summer 2010 Grin City Collective presents: Night Vision "Night Vision" is the result of a collaborative effort on the part of the six artists in residence at the Grin City Collective in Grinnell, Iowa. The works were completed during the time of residency and were created both individually and as a group. The exhibition was the first show at the newly renovated Grinnell Arts Center. Night Vision explores the darker realms of time and space, quick to point out that fear and anxiety are the direct result of ignorance and misunderstanding. Through the employment of night vision technologies the artists investigate the evils within themselves and society. selected works: ![]() BENTON SCHOENROCK ![]() video still, Night Vision version #2 ![]() MOLLY MOSER ![]() JOE LACINA ![]() JOE LACINA ![]() JORDAN MURPHY ![]() GILLIAN HEMME ![]() GILLIAN HEMME ![]() BENTON SCHOENROCK ![]() JORDAN MURPHY ![]() JONATHAN HAPP ![]() JONATHAN HAPP ![]() collaboration installation: Night Vision ![]() collaboration installation: Night Vision ---------------- Collaborative video project: Night Vision: #1Short and #2Long versions: |
